Illinois Institute of Technology is located in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Our Campus stradles State street between 35th and 31st streets and is easy to access from two highways, the lakeshore bike trail, and the green and red lines of the Chicago elevated trains.

I90/94 (Dan Ryan) from the North: Take the 31st street exit. Turn left (East) onto 31st street to the IIT campus.
I90/94 (Dan Ryan) from the South: Take the 35th street exit, continue north to 33rd Street. Turn right (East) onto 33rd street to the IIT campus.
Lake Shore Drive or Lake Shore Bike Trail: Take the 31st street exit. Continue down 31st street to the IIT campus.
Red Line "EL": Get out at the Sox/35th stop. Walk North, back towards the city and up the stairs toward 33rd st. Turn right when you exit the station and walk under the Metra train tracks to the IIT campus.
Green Line "EL": Get out at the 35th/Bronzeville/IIT stop. Walk North, back towards the city and down the stairs behind our newer dorms. Turn right when you exit the station and Walk west to State street and then North to 33rd st. (The dorms reflect the noise of the "El")
